Triad Flight of Honor, October 3, 2009 : They were at Pearl Harbor and Normandy.
They fought in the Battle of the Bulge and at Iwo Jima.
Most are now between the ages of 85 and 90.
Many of them do not even wear glasses.
It was amazing--Watching them take short, labored steps, REFUSING airport wheelchairs.
I find myself complaining all the time about slow Internet service, traffic snarls, etc.
These people witnessed the Worst of the Worst, sacrificing life and limb in the effort to preserve freedom and security.
          All I owe them is...Everything.
               I complain all the time.
                    They don't.

Dell Team MS Tour to Tanglewood, September 26 2009 : What a Fantastic Event!
Not many people like to get out of bed before dawn on a Saturday, especially to ride 45+ miles in the rain, only to turn around and do it again the next day.
It's a great testimony as to our community and our society as a whole: People extending themselves to help people they will never meet.
It is one of the things that makes our country as great as it is.
As one participant said, "We do it because we can".
We really do not have to look far to find heroes.
Congratulations to the Dell Team for participating and raising a lot of money for a great cause!

Dell Team MS Tour to Tanglewood 2008 : Community, take notice:
Once again, in the Spirit of Love, Friendship and Cooperation, participants from as far away as Ohio gathered to enjoy the fine weather and great camaraderie of the MS Society Tour to Tanglewood 2008.

Some rode 25 miles, some 50, and some 75 miles In One Day.
It is rare to see so many people who do not know each other, come together to serve people they will never know.
In the words of one participant, ‘We do it because we can’.

Many Thanks and Hats Off to the Dell Team: Robert Balsamo, Chad Chadwick, Gerardo Aguirre, Dave Laycock, Charles Shanks, Jim Vice, James Rosales, Kristin Garau, David Williams, Ricky Boyd, and Chris Smith.

Grandfather Mountain Highland Games 2008 : All of these photos were taken on Friday, July 11, 2008.
There is no proper way to describe this event, or the artists and performers who grace Grandfather Mountain with their presence, other than to say that they deserve the kind of Heaven on Earth that has been created.
Listening to the loving and exquisite harmonies of the duo 'Celtic Harp' feels like being born and dying at the same time. You'll just have to hear it.
People are still cross-eyed over the performance of Albannach, and you are urged to look them up on the Internet, YouTube, and other places. Go ahead and blow out your speakers, because it's the only way to listen to it. Rest assured that seeing them live can cure kidney stones.
Coyote Run is another fantastic band that seems to have fallen out of the sky--and is carving out a nice little place for itself in the Music Industry. Describing the vibe of Coyote Run and its Celtic essence, founder David Doersch said it best, when he explained:
"If people say 'That's not the way you play this type of music,' we know to say, 'That's the way WE play this kind of music.' "
You deserve to listen to Coyote Run, and if possible, see them live.
A lot of people travel good distances to catch one of their shows. All of their information is available online at: http://www.coyoterun.com/

Dell Awards and Recognition, May 8, 2008 : When we first onboarded, many of us were challenged to sign a banner that later hung in our lobby, which read 'Commitment to Excellence'.
Many of us received accolades on May 8, 2008 for that very reason.
Here is proof that we are all members of a Winning Team.
Be Bold; Be the Best.

Let us Rumble.

Susan G Komen Race for the Cure 2008 Winston-Salem : These just might be some of the Greatest People who Ever Lived.
Paul and I showed up to photograph the Dell Team. We couldn't find them, so we went to the Bleachers near the soccer field and waited.
The organizers said they needed photographers to shoot All the teams--So we worked along with another volunteer, and everything turned out very well.
It was a perfect day, and I was able to meet some really fine people.
None of these photos have been retouched or enhanced in any way. That way, anyone can do whatever they want with them.

Triad Highland Games 2008, Greensboro, NC : If you have never been to any Highland Games before, the Triad Highland Games is a good place to start.
